25 years ago, on March 15th, Shane Warne became the highest wicket-taker, surpassing the legendary Dennis Lillee—a man he deeply admired. To commemorate this milestone, we are offering a rare limited edition hand numbered print of an original pen-and-ink watercolour drawing by the iconic William Ellis Green (WEG).
WEG, a celebrated Australian editorial cartoonist, was best known for his AFL premiership posters from 1954 until his passing in December 2008. All prints are hand-signed by WEG himself, making this a true collector’s item that will only appreciate over time. With only 1,000 in existence, this limited edition poster is a rare piece.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
The Limited Edition WEG posters (‘Posters’) were originally released in 2000 with 1,000 posters available, all hand numbered.
Although every effort has been made to ensure there has been no doubling up on the numbering of the Posters, the Shane Warne Legacy cannot guarantee that a small number of the Posters do not have an identical number. In the event of the discovery of an identical numbered poster purchased from the Shane Warne Legacy, the Legacy will provide a full refund upon the return of the poster to us in full and final settlement of any dispute. As the Shane Warne Legacy was not involved in the original launch of the Posters, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Shane Warne Legacy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, goodwill, reputational damage arising out of or in connection with the purchase of the Poster(s).
